Application for and acceptance of a $150,000 grant from the California State Coastal <br />Conservancy (Conservancy) for the Redwood Shores Community Library Interpretive <br />Center. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by resolution, this application and acceptance for grant funds from the <br />Conservancy authorize the Library Director or his designee to execute in the name <br />of the City of Redwood City all necessary contracts, agreements, amendments and <br />payment requests hereto for the purposes of implementing the project specified in the <br />grant application. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 14864 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN <br />APPLICATION FOR $150,000 TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE COASTAL <br />CONSERVANCY FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY LIBRARY <br />INTERPRETIVE CENTER, APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE LIBRARY DIRECTOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE <br />IN THE NAME OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ALL NECESSARY <br />CONTRACTS, AGREEMENTS, AMENDMENTS AND PAYMENTS REQUESTS <br />HERETO FOR THE PURPOSES OF IMPLEMENTING THE PROJECT SPECIFIED <br />IN THE GRANT APPLICA liON <br /> <br />B.
