<br />Mayor Foust thanked the public, the speakers and asked that when the City Attorney returns <br />he gives a sense of the time that has been spent on this by all staff involved. <br /> <br />The Mayor also asked that Council hold off/and or be brief on the matters of interest <br />considering the late hour. There was Council consensus on this postponement. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub..;section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 18-2008. Council may direct staff to act on positions taken <br />by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in City <br />Clerk's Department). <br /> <br />B. Council Reports on Committee Meetings Attended. <br /> <br />1. Council Member Aguirre conceded her time. <br />2. Council Member Hartnett conceded her time. <br />3. Council Member Pierce let everyone know that the fees would be raised from a <br />different source. <br /> <br />C. New General Plan Monthly Status Report - Council Member Pierce (Informational <br />Staff Report). <br /> <br />M/S Aguirre/Howard to adjourn the meeting at 11: 21 p.m. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />9.
