<br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Joshua Klein spoke about the Sequoia High School parking and traffic flow plan. He stated <br />there had been meetings with the School District and asked for Council's involvement in the <br />hopes that the School District and Council could share in the jurisdiction of the matter. <br /> <br />Michael Grove spoke on the parking and traffic flow project at Sequoia. He thanked <br />Council for its help over the phone regarding his concerns. He agreed the School District <br />and Council might perhaps work together on this issue. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A. 2005-2006 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project Amendment No.1, JJR <br />Construction, Inc. of San Mateo, CA. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Accept by motion, the completed improvements constructed during the period of <br />time covered under Amendment NO.1 to the 2005-2006 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br />Repair Project, from JJR Construction, Inc., San Mateo, CA and release the ten <br />percent retention in the amount of $51,156 withheld during this period's course of <br />construction in accordance with City procedures. Minute Order 08-130 <br /> <br />B. Amendment #2 to the Revocable Permit between the City of Redwood City and the <br />Children's Creative Learning Center, Inc. (CCLC). <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve by motion and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment #2 to <br />the Revocable Permit dated August 17, 1998 for child care services at Sandpiper <br />Community Center. Minute Order 08-131 <br /> <br />6.2 Section -Claims and Warrants <br /> <br />A. Approve warrants dated through June 23,2008 and usual and necessary payments <br />through June 30,2008. Minute Order 08-132 <br /> <br />MIS Aguirrellra to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, <br />adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items.
