ATTACHMENT 16.18 CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS OF Page 3 SAN MATEO COUNTY FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City/County Association of Governments (hereinafter referred to as ClCAG), and the City of Redwood City (hereinafter referred to as City) are parties\ to an Agreement dated June 14, 2007, regarding the Local Transportation Services component of the County-wide Congestion Relief Plan (the "Original Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the C/CAG, at its August 14,2008 meeting, approved this first amendment to the agreement with the City for the provision of locally based shuttle services; and WHEREAS, City has reviewed and accepted this first amendment; IT IS HEREBY AGREED by C/CAG and City that: I. This first amendment shall be to provide additional funding and an extension of time in order for the City to continue the provision of locally based shuttle services and the Origfual Agreement as Amended is hereby further amended as set forth herein. 2. The added funding provided to the City by C/CAG under this first amendment will be ninety thousand dollars ($90,000), thereby making the new total contract maximum amount one hundred fifty-seven thousand, four hundred dollars ($157,400). This first amendment'shall be in effect as of July 1, 2008. The maximum a~ount available pursuant to this first amendment for Fiscal Year 2008/2009 will be ninety thousand dollars ($90,000). The additional funds will be paid based upon the receipt of invoices for the actual costs. 3. City shall be required to provide a dollar for dollar match for the C/CAG funds provided under this first amendment. 4. The Contract Term, as specified in section 5 of the Original Agreement as l\mended, shall terminate on June 30, 2009. 5.
