<br />6.1C <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Redwood City School District to use these funds for the support of the Redwood City <br />Community Schools located at Fair Oaks, Taft, Hoover, and Kennedy schools. These <br />funds provide partial support for the positions of Director of School- Community <br />Partnerships, Community School Coordinators and the Parent Involvement positions <br />(PILF), as follows: <br /> <br />1 FTE The Director of School- Community Partnerships: <br />. Provides leadership and direction to the various activities and programs that <br />provide support services throughout the district, including: the Community <br />Schools, the After School Learning Centers, Health Insurance Outreach and <br />Enrollment Homework Centers, and any additional programs as resources <br />that are identified; <br />. Works with District Administrators and staff to coordinate child and family <br />support services; <br />. Develops, maintains, nurtures and expands collaborative partnerships. <br /> <br />4 FTE The Community School Coordinators oversee and manage the following: <br />. All non-academic student and family activities, including family support <br />services, mental health services - child and family, after school academic <br />programming and recreation services; <br />. Work with school administrators, especially the Principal, to integrate non- <br />academic services with school priorities and increase accessibility of school <br />campuses to parents, community members and students. Identify and initiate <br />problem-solving measures among partners; <br />. Supervise, support and provide programmatic direction to child and family <br />support service personnel. <br /> <br />2 FTE The Parent Involvement Facilitators support the following: <br />. Improve communication between school and families to support student <br />success <br />. Strengthen and reciprocate relationships between school and families <br />.
