6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL <br /> Joshua Klein spoke about the Sequoia High School parking and traffic flow plan. He stated <br /> there had been meetings with the School District and asked for Council's involvement in the <br /> hopes that the School District and Council could share in the jurisdiction of the matter. <br /> Michael Grove spoke on the parking and traffic flow project at Sequoia. He thanked Council <br /> for its help over the phone regarding his concerns. He agreed the School District and <br /> Council might perhaps work together on this issue. <br /> 6.1 Section — Motions <br /> A. 2005-2006 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project Amendment No. 1, JJR <br /> Construction, Inc. of San Mateo, CA. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Accept by motion, the completed improvements constructed during the period of <br /> time covered under Amendment No. 1 to the 2005-2006 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br /> Repair Project, from JJR Construction, Inc., San Mateo, CA and release the ten <br /> percent retention in the amount of $51,156 withheld during this period's course of <br /> construction in accordance with City procedures. (304) Minute Order 08-130 <br /> B. Amendment #2 to the Revocable Permit between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> Children's Creative Leaming Center, inc. (CCLC). <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Approve by motion and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment #2 to <br /> the Revocable Permit dated August 17, 1998 for child care services at Sandpiper <br /> Community Center.
