MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COLrNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> September 28, 1998 <br /> MO. 98-250 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: October 5, 1998 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: PH-Pacific Shores Development Agreement (304) <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 28, 1998. <br />Present: Councilmembers Bain, Claire, Hartnett, Ira and Vice Mayor Ruskin <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Leipzig and Mayor Howard <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: Hartnett, Bain that the designation of the proposed day <br /> care/educational site be changed to "child care;" that if a child care <br /> facility has not been built within a time period in which there is 55 percent <br /> occupancy of the facility that the City and developer/responsible party <br /> meet and discuss an alternate use of the site which would require the <br /> developer/responsible party to pay an agreed-upon compensation to the <br /> City to free the site for an alternate use other than child care; and that the <br /> City use those funds toward child care within the City.
