<br />12/08/2008 <br /> <br />Measure V: <br />"Shall a Charter Amendment reqUiTIng majority voter approval for future <br />development of the Cargill Lands, consisting of approximately 1,450 acres east <br />of Highway 101 and south of Seaport Boulevard, with exemptions for takings and <br />vested rights, be adopted?" <br /> <br />Measure W: <br /> <br />"Shall a Charter Amendment requiring two-thirds voter ratification of legislative <br />acts approving certain land uses in areas of the City designated as "Park", <br />"Unimproved Areas (Land or Water)': "Future Development Expanding Limits of <br />Urbanization", "Controlled Waterways (Redwood Shores Area)", or "San <br />Francisco Bay Water" in the General Plan or designated as "Tidal Plain" or <br />"Redwood Shores Bay Front" in the Zoning Code, with exemptions for housing <br />obligations, takings and vested rights, be adopted?" <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That, subject to any significant or substantial factual or <br />numerical deviations adversely affecting the election results shown on Exhibit A, <br />and as a result of the election, a majority of the voters voting on the Measures <br />relating to the proposed Charter Amendments (Measures "0," and "E") did not <br />vote in favor of them and that the measures did not carry and shall be deemed <br />not adopted or ratified. <br /> <br />Measure "V" <br />Measure "W" <br /> <br />Yes- 13,213 <br />Yes - 10,520 <br /> <br />No - 13,733 <br />No - 17,594 <br /> <br />SECTION 5.
