<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YFES) will provide leadership in this planning effort by <br />participating on the Steering Committee for the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Planning Effort <br />(convened by Redwood City 2020 and funded by a grant from the San Mateo County Health <br />Department). In addition, YFES will assist with engaging target populations in Redwood City and <br />North Fair Oaks to participate in the planning process. <br /> <br />The Steering Committee will meet on the following dates: <br />. September 17,2008 <br />. October 15, 2008 <br />. November 19,2008 <br />. December 17, 2008 <br />. January 21, 2009 <br />. February 18, 2009 <br />. March 18, 2009 <br /> <br />YFES will make suggestions and assist with gathering youth and other target groups to give input and <br />feedback to the prevention planning effort. <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />When the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Plan has been completed and submitted to the Health <br />Department for review, YFES will submit to Redwood City 2020 an invoice for ONE THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($1,000). That invoice will detail the participation and services provided to the planning effort <br />by YFES. <br /> <br />Redwood City 2020 will review and approve the invoice and forward it to the City of Redwood City for <br />payment within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. <br /> <br />Agreement under $1 OK <br />City Attorney Approved Version 111803 <br /> <br />4 <br />
