1 II ordinance ~overning the ereotion and oonstru~tion of suoh building or struoture. Non-Liability of Town for Damages. SECTION 10. Every applioation for a building permit shall eontain an agreement to save the Town and its offioials harmless from all Gosts and damages whioh may aocrue from use or oocupany of the aidewalks, street or sub-sidewalk spaoe. Fees for Permits. SICTION 11. The applicant or applioants for suoh building permit shall pay to the Board of Trusteos for expenses of inspeotion and examination of the building and plans and speoifioations the sum of two ($2.00) dollars for eaoh one thousand (:~lOOO.OO) dollars of the estfrnated cost or fraotion thereof, e~cept where the estimated cost is less than one thousand ($1000.00) dollars in whioh oaS8 there shall be no .harge for the inspeotion and pe~mit. Permit for the Temporary Oocup~ny of a Publio Street. SECTION 12. No person, firm, oompany or corporation shall place or cause to be placed upon a publio street or any portion thereof in the Town of Redwood City any materials or applianoes for use in the oonstruot- ion, alteration or repair of a buildini of any kind or for any other purpose neoessitating temporary oocupanoy of any portions of the publio streets, without first obtaining a permit therefor from the Board of Trustees of s aid Town. Suoh materials or applianoes shall not a..upy more than one third of the width of t he roadway of the st reet and not more than one half of the width of the sidewalk and shall be placed thereon under the direotion and to the eattsfaotion of the Board of Trustees, but in no case ehall they be placed or oaueed to be plaoed within eix (6) feet of the center of a railroad traok.
