JAMES & CO. OF CALIFORNIA <br />FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS SUPPORT SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City entered into agreement <br /> <br />with Fred S. James & Co. of California for expert workers' <br /> <br />compensation claims support services in connection with the <br /> <br />City's Workers' Compensation Program, pursuant to Resolution <br /> <br />No. 8309, adopted June 18, 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />amendment to that agreement for the providing of increased <br /> <br />compensation for the furnishing of such expert services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve and authorize execution of said amendment; <br /> <br />.NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement - <br /> <br />Administration of Workers' Compensation Program" (form dated <br /> <br />6/26/8l) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, and Fred S. James & Co. <br /> <br />of California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 891 <br />
