<br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />SWC:fm 6/18/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8879 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 22 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS <br />LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article VIII B of the Constitution of the State <br /> <br />of California places various limitations on the city's powers <br /> <br />of appropriation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, S.B. 1352 (Chapter 1205, 1980 Statutes), effect- <br /> <br />ive January 1, 1981, provides for the implementation of Article <br /> <br />XIII B by various procedures, including the requirement that <br /> <br />each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its <br /> <br />appropriations limit for the following fiscal year; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />This council does hereby establish an appropriation limit <br /> <br />for the fiscal year 1981-1982, as shown on "Exhibit A" attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8879 <br />
