4/23/01 <br />0 R I G I 14 A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14204 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE <br />OF EIGHT (8) LAPTOP COMPUTERS AND ACCESSORIES <br />UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNYVALE PURCHASE ORDER #5897 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunnyvale Purchase Order #5897 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase Panasonic Tough Book 48 Computers and accessories <br />from Motorola Corporation of San Mateo, California; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Sunnyvale conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase eight <br />(8) Panasonic Tough Book 48 Computers and accessories for the Police <br />Department from Motorola Corporation pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br />Provision of the City of Sunnyvale Purchase Order #5897; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso -1132 1 <br />Shared /Redwood /Council <br />DES:djk <br />04/13/01 <br />
