<br />~ <br /> <br />" - <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 5/13/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />R85L <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 18 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />TWO COMPACT STATION WAGONS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8828, adopted April 6, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two <br /> <br />compact station wagons to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arata Pontiac, Burlingame, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Arata Pontiac; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Arata Pontiac, in the total lump sum amount <br /> <br />of Sixteen Thousand Forty-three and 83/100 Dollars ($16,043.83) <br /> <br />for the furnishing of two compact station wagons (including air <br /> <br />conditioning) in accordance with the bidder's proposal, and <br /> <br />in accordance with the revised specifications therefore on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with Arata Pontiac for the furnishing of the above <br /> <br />mentioned equipment in accordance with, and subject to, the <br /> <br />terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications and <br /> <br />in accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />R851 <br />
