<br />,....-- <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />SWC:mf 8/14/81 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI' 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8943 <br /> <br />AUG 24 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER MAIN IMPROVE~.ENT <br />PROJECT FOR 1980-81; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND' <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8883, adopted July 6, 1981, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for the Water Main Improvement Project <br /> <br />for 1980-81 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wenrick and Associates, Menlo Park, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Wenrick and Associates. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Wenrick and Associates in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five and No/I00 <br /> <br />Dollars ($129,175.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated August 4, 1981, for the Water Main Improvement Project for <br /> <br />1980-81 - Redwood City, California," is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />8 91 0 <br />'.. u <br />
