Long-term, the law calls for emissions to be <br />reduced to 80 percent below 1990 levers by 2050. <br /> <br />THE STRATEGY: <br /> <br />A countywide strateg~ involving th.e. cities and the Cou.nty; is <br />tll~ most effective approach. to guaranteeing stlfficient utili~y <br />infrastructure, to preserve natural resources and to achieve <br />greenhouse gas emission reductio'n g.oals. <br /> <br />The following general outline provides the Gools and Strategies contained in the San Mateo County <br />Energy Strategy document.
