MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> February 9, 1998 <br /> MO. 98-055 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: February 12, 1998 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Finance Director <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Woodside Terrace Retirement Facility Conduit Revenue Bonds: City <br /> of Redwood City Senior Living Facilities Revenue Bonds (Woodside <br /> Terrace) Series 1998 (505) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on February 9, 1998. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Claire, Hartnett, Ira, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Howard <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13283 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING <br /> THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY OF REVENUE BONDS FOR THE <br /> PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE ACQUISITION AND REHABILITATION OF A <br /> SENIOR LIVING FACILITY, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND <br /> DELIVERY OF AN INDENTURE OF TRUST, A LOAN AGREEMENT, A <br /> REGULATORY AGREEMENT, AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT, AND A BOND <br /> PURCHASE AGREEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND <br /> DELIVERY OF AND APPROVING OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS AND <br /> APPROVING OTHER RELATED ACTIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; <br /> <br /> Mayor Howard said this proposal had been thoroughly investigated from the <br /> financial perspective, and thanked the Finance Committee and City staff for <br /> their efforts. Mayor Howard expressed her sadness that the HHCC had not been <br /> involved in this process, and suggested that Debbie Jones-Thomas work with <br /> the proponents on the housing issue. <br /> <br /> <br />
