<br />5. SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> <br />Mayor Foust mentioned two additional special orders of the day. They were the birthdays <br />of two community contributors. Ms. Jean Cloud completed her 102nd birthday Mr. Bob <br />Hoffman completed his 90th birthday. She congratulated them both on the auspicious <br />occasion. <br />A. Oath of Office - Craig Robinson, Housing and Human Concerns Committee. <br /> <br />City Clerk Vonderlinden performed the oath of office. <br /> <br />B. Presentation Video: Redwood Family House. Council Member Aguirre <br />introduced the item. <br /> <br />Council Member Aguirre thanked the family of Maxwell for making his short life a legacy <br />of goodness and support to others who have the same disease (film on file). <br /> <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />MOTION: waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, <br />adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Stiff provided details on an upcoming concert that will take place at Canada <br />College. He explained this is a benefit concert for the students at Canada College. <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Hartnett to approve the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A. Approve the Joint City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board meeting minutes of <br />May 12, 2008. Minute Order 08-195 <br /> <br />B. Agreement for Service between the City of Redwood City and the Sequoia Union <br />High School District. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, authorize the execution of an agreement with the Sequoia Union High <br />School District to provide a School Resource Officer four days a week at Sequoia <br />High School for the school year 2008-2009. Minute Order 08-196 <br /> <br />c. Agreement with Wagstaff and Associates for Environmental Consulting <br />Services for the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve an agreement in the amount of $71,235 for <br />environmental consulting services with Wagstaff and Associates for <br />preparation of a Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for <br />the Downtown Precise Plan.
