Safety improvements at grade crossings including, <br /> <br />- Clearing and grubbing and removal of existing curb and gutter and/or fence/guardrail <br />where required <br /> <br />- Additional guardrail to discourage trespassing on JPB Right-of-Way <br /> <br />- Installation of tactile warning squares <br /> <br />- Widening of sidewalks and construction of new concrete curbs. <br /> <br />- Removal of one (1) and construction of two (2) new medians on Main Street, and <br />construction of two (2) new Dledians at Brewster A venue and Maple Street, an.d one <br />(1) new llledian at Whipple Avenue. <br /> <br />- Placement of new concrete panels (and AC ramps where required) at each <br />intersection listed. <br /> <br />- Striping and curve markings <br /> <br />- Placelnellt of new PVC conduit for signal lines <br /> <br />- Adjustment of existing pedestrian gates where required and installation of new <br />pedestrian swing gates. <br /> <br />E. For purposes of the Agreement, the term "Improvements" shall describe the construction <br /> <br />activities for the Project, and shall include all necessary changes to telephone, telegraph, signal, <br /> <br />electrical lines and appurtenances, relocation of all utilities and pipelines of any kind, all <br /> <br />temporary and permanent track work (if necessary), grading, drainage, access roadways to <br /> <br />railroad right-of-way, preliminary and construction engineering, and any and/or all other work of <br /> <br />every kind and character necessary to build the Project. <br /> <br />F.
