'.. <br /> <br />March 9, 2009 <br /> <br />SUBJECT <br />Dates for Budget Consideration <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the dates for formal action of the budget. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />Sections 51 and 51.5 of the Redwood City Charter require that the City Council establish <br />the date of the budget presentation by the City Manager, the dates for budget public <br />hearing, and by resolution, the date the budget is to be adopted. <br /> <br />Budget Sent to Council: <br /> <br />May 28, 2009 <br /> <br />City Council Budget: Study Session #1 <br />. City Manager shall submit to the Council a proposed budget. . ., It it is nonetheless the <br />Council's prerogative to select the date that they believe is most appropriate.
