(Action H~24) <br /> <br /> <br />Maintain Quality HOlL~ing and Neighborhoods <br /> <br />ActionH,l: Rehabilitation Programs <br />To maintain the quality and affordability of older neighborhoods, the <br />City offers a number of Home Improvement and Rehabilitation <br />Programs. The Home Improvement loan Program provides low-interest <br />loans and grants using COBG and Redevelopment Set-Aside funds to <br />low- and moderate-income households for the rehabilitation of owner- <br />occupied residences. Eligible improvements include room additions, <br />replacement of roofs, heaters, windows, insulation, lead-based pant <br />hazard reduction, as well as many other health and safety items.
