At times, <br />these added review agencies can contribute to long review times and <br />project delays. These delays can have serious cost impacts on affordable <br />housing projects, and can even at times threaten the completion of <br />projects. <br /> <br />Objectives: <br />. Coordinate with C/CAG to develop a united effort to encourage <br />timely review of affordable housing projects by all public <br />agencies. <br />. Outreach to specific public agencies, such as the San Mateo <br />County Environmental Health Division, to facilitate a more <br />streamlined review process. <br /> <br />Funding Sources: <br /> <br />Ongoing <br />Community Development Services Department- <br />Housing Division <br />Departmental Budget <br /> <br />Timeframe: <br />Responsible Agency: <br /> <br />Program H21: (ommunity Care Facilities and Group Homes <br />Redwood City encourages the development of community care facilities <br />and group homes. Consistent with State law, the City permits group <br />homes with six or fewer residents in all residential zoning districts by <br />right. In addition, the City permits these and other community care <br />facilities in many zoning districts throughout the City as quasi-public <br />uses. <br /> <br />Objectives: <br />. Consider revising the Zoning Ordinance to speciflcaUv identify <br />community care facilities and group homes, outlining objective <br />development and use standards and allowed locations. ;'ij~i~~ <br /> <br />~~!fWl~l . .:li <br /> <br />.
