<br />78 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's role will be to facilitate the identification of appropriate <br />sites in Redwood City that can be used for this purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Police Department and San Mateo County <br />Human Services and non-profit Agency Case Managers will determine individuals most <br />suited for the housing units made available <br />WHEREAS, City staff would like to submit an application for Five Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) for San Mateo County HOME funds for the Housing <br />First project acquisition; and <br />WHEREAS, County of San Mateo Office of Housing requires a Resolution from <br />City Council authorizing submission of the application and designating a contact <br />person. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to submit an application for Five <br />Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) for San Mateo County CDSG and <br />HOME funds for the Housing First project acquisition. <br /> <br />2.
