The owner, Mr. Tom Fry, refuses to meet with Union officials to negotiate or hear <br />grievance~. <br /> <br />. Mr. Fry will only settle grievances through his attorney. <br /> <br />. Management cannot make decisions on settling grievances without Mr. Fry's approval. <br /> <br />. Workers are intimidated or harassed if they file a grievance. <br /> <br />._..__..-._~'-"""'--'''-' ....-..,.-.. '.' -- - .._-~ <br /> <br />. Mr. Fry retaliates against employees who file grievances by cutting hours or removing <br />them from their routes. <br /> <br />.--...-.. ... --... ..--_.__._..~--_....__.._-_...._.....----- _.._---~.- <br /> <br />On the Non-Union Recycling Center: <br /> <br />. Workers do not have a break room. they are forced to eat their meals on the street. <br /> <br />. Employee locker rooms are outdoors forcing employees to change in and out of their <br />work clothes in public. <br /> <br />. There are no clean restrooms, instead there are portable filthy restrooms that are used by <br />the general public <br /> <br />. Workers are constantly threatened with their jobs if they talk about forming a Union. <br /> <br />. Workers have to beg for safety items such as work gloves or dust masks. <br /> <br />. All Recycling employees are paid minimum wage with no medical benefits. <br /> <br />.
