On March 16, 2009 the Council held a "Meet and Greef' with <br />applicants, current commissioners and the media. This event preceded the interviews <br />held that same night. <br /> <br />Council interviewed applicants for their first choice. Since the interview session, various <br />applicants have withdrawn their intention to serve. For this reason the list of applicants <br />before Council is shorter than the list of people who were interviewed. <br /> <br />Some applicants do not meet the elector and or residency requirement.
