CGM:mf 7/22/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8921 Of?/GiNAl JUL 2 7 1981 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RODENT CONTROL PROGRAM (1981-82 FISCAL YEAR); REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8877, adopted June 22, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the Rodent Control Program (1981-82 fiscal year) in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, BAY PEST CONTROL CORPORATION, San Mateo, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Bay Pest Control Corporation; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of Bay Pest Control Corporation in the amount of Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-three and 07/100 Dollars ($16,273.07), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 14, 1981, for the Rodent Control Program for fiscal year 1981-82 in the City of Redwood City is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 7/22/81) by and between the City of Redwood City and Bay Pest Control Corporation for the performance of said work in accordance with the specifications for this project, a copy of which agreement 8.
