<br />SWC:mf 7/23/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8 9~ 0 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br />JUL 2 '7 1~81 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER TELEMETRY SYSTEM <br />MAINTENANCE, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.8878, adopted June 22, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for water telemetry system <br /> <br />maintenance in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMBROSINI & CHALMERS, INC., San Mateo, California, <br /> <br />has been determined to be the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to award said contract to <br /> <br />Ambrosini & Chalmers, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ambrosini & Chalmers in the amount of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Five Hundred Sixty and No/lOO Dollars ($14,560.00) for <br /> <br />basic services as well as those additional, overtime, and <br /> <br />emergency hourly rates listed for such respective services in <br /> <br />Bidder':s Proposal dated July 13, 1981, for water telemetry system <br /> <br />maintenance in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 7/23/81), by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Ambrosini & Chalmers, Inc., <br /> <br />for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance with and <br /> <br />subject to the terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications <br /> <br />and contract documents, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />8920 <br />
