<br />SWC:cc 6/29/81 <br />OR!GINAl <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8 907 <br /> <br />JUL 1 3 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SALVATION ARMY, REDWOOD CITY CORPS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing emergency <br /> <br />assistance to residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting <br /> <br />its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1981, <br /> <br />and ending June 30, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received said <br /> <br />request and desires to pay to Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, <br /> <br />the sum of Six Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($6,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to approve same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/29/81), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full partici- <br /> <br />pation thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is'here- <br /> <br />by authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8907 <br />
