AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> HOUSING REVlTALIZAITON PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~,~f~-'- day of ~)~ <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and North Peninsula Neighborhood <br />Services Center, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the <br />"Parties"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides a Housing Revitalization Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2002, and ending June 30, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed said request; finds that providing the <br />financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to allocate <br />to Contractor the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, solely for the purposes <br />described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />10/8/02 <br /> <br /> <br />
