AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> For <br /> <br /> CHILD CARE FACILITY EXPANSION <br /> <br /> (CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> REDWOOD CITY CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into th~s /~ day of .~/~'/~z~L . <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, (City) and POPLAR RECARE, a California nonprofit corporation <br />(Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a facility renovation/improvement project to 875 <br />Stanton Road, Burlingame, CA 94010 which provides services to individuals with <br />disabilities who are residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand Dollars and no/100 Dollars ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, solely for the <br />purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/00 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
