PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Richard S. Claire, Mayor <br />4. INVOCATION -Steve Corales, Director of Adult Ministries - Templo La Luz <br />5. SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY - None <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />Rudy Luca stated that the vote on December 9, by the City Council that approved and <br />voted to accept the Cinema project with one "no" vote of Council Member Jordan was <br />unlawful and illegal. Before the Council vote, he stated he showed City Attorney <br />Yamamoto duplicate letters received from Planning and Redevelopment Manager <br />Church dated November 27, 2002. The letters referenced two scheduled hearing <br />dates of December 9 and December 16 on the subject of upcoming meetings for the <br />Cinema /Retail project. He further stated that City Attorney Yamamoto stated that the <br />intent of the letter was for the Council to act on this subject that night of December 9. <br />Mr. Luca stated that he wanted to go on recnrd that he is pursuing the matter with <br />legal counsel. He urged Mayor Claire to cond_xi: a meeting where all are recognized <br />by the Mayor in democratic form and equality. -ie stated that the Mayor does not allow <br />for rebuttal from the presenter to comments made by Council or others. <br />DRAFT - <br />NOT FOR CITATION <br />
