<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />SAN MATEO COUNTY LIBRARY JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY <br />AND THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />["LICENSE AGREEMENT"] <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 is entered into and effective as of July 1,2005, extending <br />the agreement dated December 18, 2002 (the "License Agreement") by and between <br />the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of <br />California ("City"), and San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Authority ("JPA") <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The Parties desire to extend the License Agreement for a period of one year. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Paragraph 2. (Term) of the License Agreement is amended in its entirety <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"The term of this Agreement shall be extended to June 30, 2006." <br /> <br />2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br />time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3.
