<br />8A <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Attachment 1 <br /> <br />therewith. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Action Plan and Application prepared for submission to the United <br /> <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of <br /> <br />1974, a HOME Investment Partnership Grant pursuant to the National Affordable <br /> <br /> <br />Housing Act of 1992, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, <br /> <br />copies of which as well as the Consolidated Plan are on file in the office of the <br /> <br />Community Development Services Department of the City of Redwood City, are hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has <br /> <br />followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan as required by Section 1 04(a) of the Act. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file the Application <br /> <br />and all related documents, including all understandings and assurances necessary or <br /> <br />appropriate in connection therewith, and including any amended levels of federal <br /> <br />funding subsequently allocated, and to provide such additional information as may be <br /> <br />required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />4.
