<br />1) Staff Report; <br />2) Open public hearing; <br />3) Hear public comment; <br />4) Close public hearing; <br />5) Council discussion; <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution to approve Fiscal Year 09-10 Annual Action Plan and to <br />authorize the City Manager to execute and file documents related to the Annual <br />Action Plan for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNUAL ACTION PLAN OF THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN <br />(2005-2010) AND APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE (COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS): <br />CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS FOLLOWED ITS ADOPTED CITIZEN <br />PARTICIPATION PLAN, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL <br />DOCUMENTS PERTAINING THERETO (FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010) <br /> <br />B. Housing and Human Concerns Committee Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Funding <br />Recommendations for the Redwood City Human Services Financial Assistance <br />(HSFA) Program (companion report - no action required at this time). <br /> <br />Staff contact: Teri Chin, Director of the Fair Oaks Community Center/Human Services Manager <br />780-7510 tchin@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Direct staff to incorporate the Housing and Human Concerns Committee's <br />recommendations for HSFA for Fiscal Year 09-10 into the Fiscal Year 09-10 <br />budget to be presented for review by Council in June. HSFA recommendations <br />are being presented this evening as part of an overall Annual Action Plan for the <br />City's use of u.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. <br />The Council will take no action on the HSFA recommendations at this time. <br /> <br />9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> <br />10.
