EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF SURVEY SERVICES TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY/BASE MAPPING PROJECT NO. 806-08 1. The topographic project area shall be defined as: a) The street right-of way area along Maddux Drive from Washington to Alameda de las Pulgas. b) The street right-of way area along Anamor Street from Hampton to Valota. 2. The topographic survey shall be drafted on plan and profile mylars with the City of Redwood City title block at a scale of 1" = 20'. The City of Redwood City shall provide a AutoCAD V12 format disc containing its standard 24" x 36" plan and profile sheet. The survey shall also be delivered on an AutoCAD V12 format disc. 3. The survey sh~ll be based upon the City of Redwood City's vertical datum. 4. The survey shall indicate all visible physical features within the project area including manholes, valve boxes, monuments, utility covers, drain inlets, water meters, cleanouts, hydrants, trees, fences, driveways, poles and signs. 5. Cross sections of the street right-of way area shall be at fifty foot intervals on tangent sections and twenty-five foot intervals along curved sections. The cross sections shall indicate centerline, flowline of gutter, top of curb, back of walk and right-of-way elevations. 6. The topographic survey area shall be extended twenty feet from the curb return at all street intersections. 7. The final drawings shall include side lot property lines, right-of way lines, lot addresses, street centerlines, existing underground utility locations (as indicated upon City of Redwood City utility maps) and inverts of accessible manholes and drainage inlet structures. 8. The side lot lines shown on the drawing will be as shown on the original subdivision maps. No attempt will be made to rectify or resolve any boundary discrepancies which a current title report may disclose. 9. For the purpose of this proposal it is assumed that the City of Redwood City will request that U.S.A. will identify & mark the underground locations of those P.G.& E. and Pacific Bell utilities which neither P.G.& E. or Pacific Bell have accurate records as to their utility locations in the project area.
