<br />I <br /> <br />AIm VffiEREAS, said improvemen~ also include the grading an <br />preparation of the subgrade for pavement and for structures, and <br />the construction therein of cement concrete gutters and curbs <br />and such header boards, and th e c<tDnstruction therein of a granite <br />waste rock waterbound macadam pase pavement six inches in <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />thickness after compaction, and the construction therein of .an <br />asphaltic wearing surface three inches in thickness; and the <br />construction therein of waterbound rock and macadam shoulders <br /> <br />on the northwesterly side of the asphaltic concrete pavement at <br /> <br /> <br />tl.!e places shown on said specifications, in the. following street <br /> <br />and avenue which intersects with said Alameda de las Pulgas, viz.; <br /> <br /> <br />(1) West Union Road from the southwesterly line of <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Alameda delas Pulgas to a line parallel thereto and distant at <br />right angles 20 feet southwesterly therefrom. <br /> <br />There is excepted from said work hereinbefore mentioned <br /> <br />any duplication of the same class of work clue to duplic.ation of <br /> <br /> <br />descriptions, and there is excepted from said work any and all <br /> <br />such work which is already done to the line and grade fixed in <br /> <br />said specifications. <br />There is also excepted from said work hereinbefore <br /> <br />mentioned any work in Alameda de las Pulgas to be done between <br /> <br /> <br />the northwesterly limits of the Town of San Carlos and the <br /> <br />Portions of Almneda de las Pulgas to be improved as <br /> <br /> <br />southerly side of the existing pavement. therein which leads from <br /> <br /> <br />Alameda de las Pulgas to Cypress Avenue. <br /> <br /> <br />The grading above provided for includes the removal of <br /> <br />existing curbs and other structures, the removal of which is <br />shown or provided for in said specifications. <br /> <br />aforesaid were formerly known a.s Brittan Avenue, Cypress Avenue, <br /> <br />Ashley Avenue, Foothill Boulevard, Vfuipple Avenue, West Union <br /> <br />Road and Capyon Road. <br /> <br />6. <br />
