FXS:dmp 05/30/95 (010/40) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 6/12/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12495 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR LAND ADJACENT TO EASTER CROSS PROPERTY <br /> FOR A COMMUNICATIONS SITE <br /> <br /> (NEXTEL COMMUNICATIONS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 12392, adopted January 16, <br />1995, this Council approved and authorized the bid documents <br />relating to the leasing of approximately 700 square feet of <br />property adjacent to Easter Cross Property, more particularly <br />described hereinafter, for a communications site and authorized <br />the City Clerk to advertise the lease of said property in <br />accordance with Section 3½ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call for bids, one bid was <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the aforementioned lease agreement; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Lease Agreement - <br />Communications Site (Emerald Lake Hills Water Tank Property)" <br />(form dated 5/24/95) by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Smart SMR of California, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, dba Nextel <br />Communications, a copy of which agreement and the associated <br />legal description of leased real property are on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br /> <br />
