DES:d~'- 06/07/95 (135/39) <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the Charter <br />of the City of Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April <br />11, 1994, a General Municipal Election shall be held on November <br />7, 1995 for the purpose of electing four (4) Councilmembers for <br />the full term of four (4) years each. <br /> <br /> 2. The Board of Trustees of the Redwood City Elementary <br />School District is hereby requested, pursuant to the provisions <br />of Elections Code Sections 10402 and 10403, to consolidate the <br />General Municipal Election of the City of Redwood City with the <br />School District Election of said District to be held on November <br />7, 1995. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />publish, or cause to be published, in the official newspaper of <br />the City of Redwood City, in the time, form and manner required <br />by law, notice of the aforesaid General Municipal Election. <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />transmit certified copies of this resolution to the Board of <br />Trustees, Redwood City Elementary School District and to the <br />Elections Official, County of San Mateo, California. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
