Motion <br /> carries 6-0 with Council Member Ira absent. Minute Order 09-065 <br /> C. Council appointments to various Boards, Commissions and Committees. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends that Council make appointments to the following bodies: <br /> Architectural Review Committee (one alternate seat — vacant since 2008), Home <br /> Improvement Loan Committee (three seats), Library Board (two seats), and <br /> Planning Commission (three seats). (209) <br /> City Attorney Yamamoto made comments regarding the residency requirement. Mayor <br /> Foust explained that Council could always reopen the recruitment should the candidates <br /> not be sufficient for a certain appointment. Mr. Yamamoto explained the Architectural <br /> Review Committee requirements.
