<br />6.~ <br />J . <br /> <br />mentioned are suitable and proper places for holding said general and <br /> <br />special consolidated illttnicipal election and are the polling places v:here <br /> <br />elections are usually held, and the several persons appointed officers <br /> <br />as aforesaid havE:~ been found and are hereby declared to be qualified. for <br /> <br />their respective positions as requlred by law, and they are hereby appointed <br /> <br />such officers to conduct such election and to constitute said Boards of <br /> <br />Election, and said Boards of Election and said election officers shall <br /> <br />conduct and .a1'e hereby directed to conduct said general and special <br /> <br />consolidated municipal election as by law and this resolution provided, <br /> <br />and to canvass the votes to be given and cast at said election and to <br /> <br />make and deliver returns thereof to the Council of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />And it is further resolved that the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City shall meet at their place of meeting in the City Hall at tho hour <br /> <br />of eight o'clock P.M. on the Monday following the day.of said election <br /> <br />to canvass said returns and declare the result of said general and special <br /> <br />consolidated municipal election. <br /> <br />And be it further resolved by the Council of Redwood ~ity that at <br /> <br />said genera.l and special consolidated municipal election to be held in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City on the 14th day of April, 1930, the polls shall <br /> <br />be opened at six o'clock in the morning of the day of said general and <br /> <br />special consolidated municipal election and shall .remain open until seven <br /> <br />o'clock in the evening of said day, <br /> <br />en the pOlis shall be closed. <br /> <br />And be it further resolved by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City that all acts and things required by law or ordinance of said City, <br /> <br /> <br />to be done by any officer of said City of Redwood City for the purpose <br /> <br />of holding said genero,l and special consolidated municipal election in <br /> <br />said City of Redwood City on the 14th day of April, 1930, be, and the <br /> <br />same shall be done and all officers of the City of Redwood City having any <br /> <br />duty to perform under the laws of the State of California or ordinances <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City in reference to said general and special <br /> <br />consolidated municiI>al election hereinbefore referred to are directed to <br /> <br />IJerform such duties in time, form and manner as required by such laws <br /> <br />and ordinances. <br />
