DES:d~u 05/23/95 (047/32) 0 R I G I N A L 6/12/95 RESOLUTION NO. 12489 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES (SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the South Bayside System Authority ("SBSA"), a public entity established pursuant to joint exercise of powers agreement, entered into an agreement dated January 8, 1987 (the "Basic Agreement"), pursuant to which the City has performed certain professional accounting and financial services for the SBSA; and WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Basic Agreement the parties renewed and extended the term and revised the compensation payable thereunder pursuant to amendments thereto dated June 16, 1987 (the "First Amendment"), June 22, 1988 (the "Second Amendment"), June 21, 1989 (the "Third Amendment"), June 18, 1990 (the "Fourth Amendment") , July 8, 1991 (the "Fifth Amendment"), July 20, 1992 (the "Six Amendment"), June 23, 1993 (the "Seventh Amendment"), and June 18, 1994 (the "Eighth Amendment"); and WHEREAS, the parties to the Basic Agreement desire to renew and extend the term thereof and revise the compensation payable thereunder for the period July 1, 1995 - June 30, 1996; and WHEREAS, a Ninth Amendment to the Basic Agreement providing for the foregoing has been presented to, and reviewed by this Council and this Council desires to approve and authorize the execution thereof;
