FXS:dft 5/5/94 (054/38) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of <br />the Act, the City has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as <br />part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein <br />referenced will be used; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned <br />Consolidated Plan and application for a Community Development <br />Block Grant and to authorize the execution of all documents <br />pertaining thereto, including all understandings and assurances <br /> <br />connected therewith; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain Consolidated Plan and application prepared <br />for submission to the United States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development for a Community Development Block Grant <br />pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act <br />of 1974, copies of which application Consolidated Plan are on <br />file in the office of the Community Development Department of the <br />City of Redwood City, to which copies reference is hereby made <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. This Council does hereby certify that the City of <br /> Redwood City has followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan <br /> as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and <br /> file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including all <br /> understandings and assurances, necessary or appropriate in <br /> connection therewith, and to provide such additional information <br /> as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
