<br /> <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Tt)< Kit ra: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San <br /> <br />Mateo, state of California, did on the 3rd day of September, 1935, pass <br /> <br />and adopt Ordinance No. 362 fixing' and establishing the tax rate of said <br /> <br />city for the fiscal year 1935-1936, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in and by sai~ tax rate so fixed and established, as afore- <br /> <br />said, the rate of thirty cents ($.30) upon each one hundred dollars ($100) <br /> <br />of the assessed valuation of all property in said Cit,y of Redwood City <br /> <br />was fixed and established for the payment, principal and interest, of <br /> <br />1915 bonds, due and delinquent of said city, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city officials have not as yet computed the taxes <br /> <br />levied upon each parcel of property shown upon the assessment roll of <br /> <br />said city and that no tax payers or third persons will be injured in <br /> <br />any way by reducing the thirty cent ($.30) levy upon each one hundred <br /> <br />dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all property in said City <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />of Redwood City for the payment of 1915 bonds, principal and interest, <br /> <br />due and delinquent, of said city to ten cents ($.10) instead of the <br /> <br />'thirty cents ($.30) provided in said ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City that tbe City Clerk (there being no City AUditor) be and he is <br /> <br />hereby ordered and directed to compute and carry out the amount of taxes <br /> <br />levied on each parcel of property in the assessment roll of said city <br /> <br />and in such computation to compute for the payment of 1915 bonds, <br /> <br />principal and interest, the sum of ten cents ($.10) upon each one hund~ed <br /> <br />dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all property in said City of <br /> <br />Redwood City instead and in place of the thir~y cents ($.30) provided <br /> <br />for that purpose in Ordinance No. 362 herein before mentioned. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Collector of said city be <br /> <br />and she is hereby ordered and directed to collect instead of the thirty <br /> <br />cents ($.30) mentioned hereinabove for the payment of 1915 bonds, <br /> <br />princlpa~ and interest, due and delinquent, the sum of ten cents ($.10) <br />
