<br />rJ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CLOSING AND VACATING IVY STREET IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City did on the 1st day <br />of October, 1928, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. K-ll to order <br />that Ivy Street in the Town of Redwood City from the southerly line of <br />Broadway and northeasterly line of Hilton Street extended northwesterly <br />across said Ivy Street be closed and vacated as a public street and <br />highway; and <br />WHEREAS, a notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention <br />was duly published as required by law in the Redwood City Tribune on <br />October 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 and November 1, 1928, as <br />appears from the affidavit of Sam H. Winklebleck now on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the last day of publication was the 1st <br />day of November, 1928; and <br />WHEREAS, the Street Superindendent of the Town of Redwood City did <br />duly post notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention entitled <br />"Notice of Public Works" along the line of the work and improvement to <br />be done as described in said Resolution of Intention as appears from the <br />affidavit of C. L. Dimmitt, Street Superintendent, now on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, within the time allowed by law no protests of any kind <br />were made against the work and improvements of closing Ivy Street as de- <br />scribed in said Resolution of Intention No. K-ll hereinbefore referred to <br />herein, and said Council of the City of Redwood City now having acquired <br />jurisdiction thereon; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />that Ivy street in the City of Redwood City from the southerly line of <br />Broadway and northeasterly line of Hilton Street extended northwesterly <br />across said Ivy Street be and the same is hereby closed and vacated as a <br />public street and highway. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at <br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of November, 1935, by the <br />following vote: <br />
