<br />City of Redwood City does hereby deprecate the continued agitation for a <br /> <br />change of the County Seat of San Mateo County and respectfully request <br /> <br />the Public Works ~nistration of the United States and the Board of <br /> <br />Supervi sors of the County of San Mateo to regard':,the location of the <br /> <br /> <br />County Seat thereof as permanently settled; that efforts to disturb the <br /> <br /> <br />location of the County Sea.t be discouraged and that the proposed grant <br /> <br /> <br />to the County of San Mateo by the Public Works Administration of the <br /> <br />United States to aid said County in providing additional office space <br /> <br />conveniently accessible to the Court House be based upon a determination <br /> <br />that sa.id County Seat at Redwood City is permanent; <br /> <br />~HER RESOLVED that copy of this resolution duly certified <br /> <br />by the Clerk of the City Council of Redwood City be sent to the Public <br /> <br />Works Administration of the United States and to the Board of Supervisors <br />of the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />., <br />( "'. <br /> <br />The foregoing reso~ution was passed and adopted by the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City at its regular a.djourned meeting held on the <br />14th day of December, 1936, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution: <br /> <br />Counci Imen: L.
