shall have appropriated funds through its budgetary process (in such manner or <br />by such designation as Authority in its discretion shall determine) to provide for <br />compensation payments to be made during such term(s). If Authority shall not <br />have made such appropriations, then Authority shall give notice of termination of <br />this agreement pursuant to paragraph 9. <br /> <br /> 5. SUPPLIES~ MATERIALS~ STORAGE. Authority shall provide supplies <br />and materials necessary and appropriate for City's landscape maintenance <br />services hereunder including, without limitation, replacement planting materials, <br />fertilizer, insecticides, herbicides, and similar or like materials. "Materials and <br />supplies" as used in this paragraph do not include vehicles, tools and equipment <br />customarily and generally used by City's employees in carrying out landscape <br />maintenance services. <br /> Said supplies and materials may be purchased directly by Authority, or, <br /> upon agreement of City, by City, subject to reimbursement by Authority at cost. <br /> Invoices for reimbursement of costs of supplies and materials purchased by City <br /> on behalf of Authority shall be submitted to Authority for payment concurrently <br /> with invoices for compensation pursuant to paragraph 3. <br /> <br /> Authority shall provide storage space for small tools and equipment used <br /> by City's personnel in performing services hereunder. Authority shall provide <br /> reasonable security for said storage space to prevent entry thereto by persons <br /> not authorized by City or Authority. Likewise, Authority shall provide access to <br /> said storage space for City's personnel. <br /> <br /> 6. STANDARD OF PERFORMANCE. City shall perform its landscape <br /> maintenance services hereunder in an efficient and effective manner conforming <br /> to generally acceptable standards for such services within the professional <br /> landscape maintenance industry within the San Francisco Bay Area. <br /> <br /> 7. TERM.
