OBtGtNAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION <br /> <br /> (REDWOOD SHORES PUBLIC LIBRARY PROJECT) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this .~ day of D.~..~c~ <br />209, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and CH2M HILL of San <br />Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires environmental documentation in order to <br />understand the potential significance of environmental impact associated with <br />development of the Redwood Shores Public Library Project (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an <br />environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code {}21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR {}15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that an Initial Study is required and that further environmental review <br />and preparation of a Negative Declaration may be required (the "Environmental <br />Review"); and <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Agr, 082 1 <br />121002 <br /> <br /> <br />
