RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE REDWOOD CITY WATER DEPARTMENT (PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT) RELATING TO WATER RATES; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 14913 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Section 3 of the Rules and Regulations for the Redwood City Water Department (now known as the Public Works Services Department), approved December 1947, as amended to date, is amended to read as follows: "Section 3. (a) Water Service Areas. For the purpose of this section, the following water service areas are established, and all premises served by the water system owned and operated by the City of Redwood City shall be located in such areas: (1) Area 1: All premises located within the City of Redwood City and not located within Areas 3, 5, or 6 shall be included in Area 1 . (2) Area 2: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City and not located within Areas 4,5, or 6 shall be included in Area 2. (3) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood General Improvement District No. 1-64, a general improvement district duly organized and existing under the Redwood City General I mprovement District Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all territory annexed to said district shall be included in Area 3. (4) Area 4: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City and requiring extra pumping service to provide water service thereto shall be included in Area 4. (5) Area 5: All premises located within or outside the City of Redwood City which were formerly included in the service area for any water company or system acquired in bulk by the City shall be included in Area 5. (6) Area 6: All premises located within or outside the City of Redwood City on publicly-owned property and used as a college campus shall be included in Area 6. Atty/Rasa/Rasa. 1909 051909 1
