<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Herman G. Fleishman has served the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for ten years as police officer, and his work in the <br /> <br />department has always been courteous and efficient, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Herman G. Fleishman while in the performance of his duty, <br /> <br />was, on January 22, 1939, struck down by an automobile <br /> <br />and suffered injuries from which he passed away at Mills <br /> <br />Memorial Hospital, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City that the untimely death of such a courageous, honest <br /> <br />and loyal officer be deplored, and condolences be ex- <br /> <br />pressed to his widow and.. family, and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spreacl on the minutes <br /> <br />of the City Council and a copy be mailed to the family of <br /> <br />the deceased. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at <br /> <br />a special meeting thereof held on the 23d day of January, <br /> <br />1939, by the following vote: Councilmen H. F. Anderson, <br /> <br />E. A. Fletcher, Wm. Hahn, R. N. Jones, P. A. McCarthy, <br /> <br />G. W. McNulty, L. C.
