<br />.;.. -,.. ," ~ .f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, state of California <br /> <br />CONSENTING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF PUBLIC <br />HEALTH STATUTES AND REGULATIONS BY THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />VffiEREAS THE CITY COUNCIL HAS DETERMINED that public interest <br /> <br />and efficiency will be best served when the enforcement of all <br /> <br />statutes relating to the public health and to vital statistics and <br /> <br />all rules prescribed by the State Board of Health is undertaken by <br /> <br /> <br />the San Mateo County Health Department as provided in Section 4225 <br /> <br />of the Political Code: <br /> <br />NOW, TfillREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE said City Council here- <br /> <br />by consents to the extending of the jurisdiction of the said <br /> <br />I County Health Officer and the County Health Department to the <br /> <br />City of REDWOOD CITY as aforesaid, and that under and by <br /> <br />virtue of the proviSions of the said section of the Political Code <br /> <br />the said San Mateo County Health Officer is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />empowered to enforce, within and throughout the said City of <br />REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />, all statutes relating to the public <br /> <br />health and to vital statistics and all rules or regulations pre- <br />scribed by the State Board of Health. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the <br /> <br />Coun~J of San Mateo is hereby requested to take all necessary steps <br />in order to put this resolution into effect. <br />
